temperatures warmer than yesterday but for santa rosa where we are the same. all right, no fumbling of the forecast this morning, with temperatures around 38 in santa rosa, 39 in napa and everyone else is in the 40's until oakland and san francisco, and fremont in the 50's and look at half moon bay, 63 degrees. that is warmer than the average high for this time of year. as we head south to the monterey bay we will have temperatures there also in the 40's and 50's. now, today, we are going to dip down to 39 inland, mid-40's to 50 around the bay and the coast and we will all be in the 60's by noon and up to 70's this afternoon and a nice evening, too, in the lower to upper 50's. tomorrow is one of the warmest days mid-60's to low 70's and a cooling will take us down into the mid-50's to upper 50's at coast and mid-60's for the rest of us. >> good morning, everyone. everything is looking good just one problem spot near antioch westbound for the ramp to northbound 160 on the approach to the antioch bridge, a big rig lost the road. c.h.p. is trying to get whatever that is that is lost, but

weather or fog. there is a little bit up around santa rosa but that is it. big story today, compared to average our temperatures are going to be three to eight degrees warmer than average as we hit the mid-60's to low 70's. here is the visibility in santa rosa, 1.75 miley mile. it is not dangerous. we are clear, though, and 39 inland, and in the mid-40's to near 50 from the bay to the coast through 7:00 and a quick warming today, a great afternoon, if you kickoff early and get the tennis or golf in, low-to-mid 60's, listened at noon and the upper 60's to 70's by 4:00 and a there evening. tonight will be a nice evening, maybe celebrate valentine's day a day later like me and the wife. our warmest day, temperatures tomorrow in the mid-60's and the coast and low 70's, and we will drop into the mid 60's by sunday and low 60's away from the coast by monday. have a good day. >> nice commute on 80 westbound beyond university avenue to emeryville. early road work is all clear with headlights but it is moving the scene limit and looking good. here is what it looks like funneled into the bay b

the same tomorrow. and there is pretty good windchills. livermore and santa rosa reporting windchills in the 20s. it's cold for some but a dry forecast this week. you get a good look at that offshore right there. everything going off the coast. that means temperatures anywhere from 30s almost upper 20s to near 50. that 50 is half-moon bay with an offshore breeze. santa rosa 31. that puts their windchill 27. and livermore 26 with an east wind. you can see some of the north wind at napa 8. fairfield north. northeast at oakland. gives you an idea of what is going on. temperatures once they get going will warm up. the warmest temps will be coast and bay or santa rosa which benefits from that north wind. sunny and breezy today. a cold, cold morning. 50s and 60s. low to mid. in fact, this may be the coolest day of the week. we will see warmer temps kick in on tuesday and carry us right probably into friday. pretty good fine line here. each day temps will be warming up here. high pressure sets in on the west coast. over all it looks like a quiet pattern. >>> time now 6:10. bracing

visibility right now, the 4:00 observations, less than quarter mile in novato and 1.5 mime in santa rosa. be careful around novato and neighbors north and south to san rafael and petaluma, the 101 corridor will be foggy during the commute. everyone else is okay, clear and temperatures running in the mid-30's inland and low 40's for the rest of us through 7:00. toward noon, you need the sunglasses for lunch in the mid-to-upper 50's and comfortable temperatures in the afternoon hours and dropping to clear sky in the low-to-mid 50's by 7:00. stretching the forecast into the weekend, you can see tomorrow for valentine's day it will be sunny, mid-to-upper 60's and the warmth system possibly up to 70 on sunday, and low 60's on saturday at the coast and upper 60's for the rest of us and finally a chance of showers in the forecast coming up in a few minutes with the accweather seven-day outlook. sue? >> back to a new location for southbound 680 accident being reported that on on the app showing three lanes are blocked. you can see the road looks as if it is not backed up. that is southbound 680.

francisco. 67 also in san jose. and 62 degrees in santa rosa. now looks like as we head throughout the afternoon plenty of sunshine all the way to the coastline. mostly clear tonight with those offshore winds. and it looks like it's going to be a dry weekend but probably not quite as warm especially into sunday. that's when we are likely going to see a sea breeze pick up once again and temperatures will drop off. temperatures in the low to mid- 60s this time of year. nine degrees above average in san francisco and about 69, 73 in san jose and about 70 in santa rosa so you get the idea working on a great day ahead. this is probably the peak of the heat as the high pressure is overhead. that's when these temperatures start to warm up. it will be a very nice day today and a mild weekend indeed. warm temperatures all around the bay area. even out at the coastline. today looking very nice outside. the temperatures expected to pop up as high as 37 degrees in san jose. about 68 in half moon bay. 70 in hayward. east bay temperatures looking very nice, as well. let's plan on 69 in livermore, 70

santa rosa, nothing in nevado. for miles around as f o. i checked with the faa and we do not have any flight delays to talk about for now but that could certainly be a possibility. keep that in mind if you're picking someone up from the airport. it is cold out there, we are below the freezing mark and santa rosa. 42 hayward, 33 livermore. into the afternoon, 60s to go round. temperatures spot on compared to yesterday. temperatures are around average of redwood city 64, 63 santa clara. it will be a nice day in the east bay. 64 fairfield in concord, 62 pleasanton. downtown san francisco 64, its 62 nevado. 7 day around the bay forecast highlights or whether in the warming trend really picks up as we head into valentine's day. it will be the perfect weather to be outdoors potentially for a picnic. friday temperatures are still flirting with the 70 degree mark. saturday and sunday temperatures of little bit cooler. rain in the forecast is right around next tuesday. >> we are not currently tracking any hot spots. bay bridge is not such a bad ride. 60 minutes commute time out of the macarthu

the 5:00 observations are in at fairfield, still freezing at 31 and other cool spots are santa rosa and novato and livermore at 34, and 23 at -- 35 at concord, and 40 at san jose and san francisco is the warm spot at 46 with freezing cold in gilroy at 32 but ten degrees warmer in santa cruz. sunny and mild this afternoon. mostly clear and cool nights on the way. we will be warmer than average in the afternoon we will fall back to normal temperatures and 70-degrees high likely away from the coast thursday and friday. oakland will be 68 and same for santa rosa. and cooler spots are only 63 including san jose, livermore, concord and antioch and fairfield and san rafael. to the monterey bay, 61, and mid-60's around the bay and headed inland. now, tonight, possibility fog out there again, very isolated as the air dries out during the overnight hours and mid-30's to low 40's in most areas and san francisco is 45 degrees. here is what happened while you were sleeping, two areas of high pressure dominating our weather and the ridge will remain strong all week. we will see how far we can cra
